Hey, is it bad my start art isn't 4x4?

It does need to fit the bounding box that gS requested, but you can always cut the image down afterwards, however you may lose significant parts of the composition I imagine.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to do art for the album. The lack of a drawing tablet is making this increasingly difficult.

Just gonna say this now, I don't have a drawing tablet either. I have access to a scanner though, maybe your local library has one you could use? I don't know really, but just a thought.

I did mine entirely by mouse. I did, however, get lazy and out-right "stole" Shyla and Jitterbug's image and didn't even attempt to draw them myself. Also, it doesn't need to be spectacular. So, give it a go! If you need help, I'm sure one of us could help you touch it up or something.

Yeah, it is rather fuzzy, but it doesn't look to be because of file-degradation that jpg files can have.

Did you resize it to find the image constraints? What program did you use to draw this?

There is a lot of possibilities to have happened here. (I like what I see though, it reminds me of Fourside from Earthbound.)

Possible Variations of the Song "Let them Loose"

Currently got 2, third on the way. once I get that one done going to need to figure out which fits the best, then possible re draw it so it looks better... if I can do such a thing.

(also why are mine so big? didn't the page say they should be 4in X 4in?

You're not using a blur? Are you resizing a lot? Are you remembering to save it as a 32-bit PNG? I'd give it some hard lines, and define it a bit more.

You are using a bit too much blur in the wrong areas, me thinks. As someone who abused (and I still do, actually, but I pick carefully where I use it) the hell out of blurs, I think that's part of the problem. I'm only seeing one image under the spoilers. The Big Bad Rhythm City is what I'm supposed to be looking at right? I would go over the hard edges of the buildings with a black line or something to define it better. Also, I would touch up the letters. Those should be crystal clear and not be blurred at all.

The too much blur was on purpose.
Originally It wasn't supposed to be that much but when i looked at it it felt like the seedy underside of Rhythm city so I stuck with it.

The blurry black lines too.
It's like into the eyes of the drunk and high....but not too high.
Also it's not yet finished, still waiting hero's part.

Okay, I have worked long and hard, and no good ideas are coming to me. I just can't create them the way they seem in my head. I'm not giving up, but it might be wise for someone to create their own version for At Your Service just in case I don't follow through.
