Wait. I just had an idea.

The burden of twelve that encompasses all
Take only one and the kingdom shall fall
Together they must turn what once wrong into right
Through Brightest of days
Through Everclear Nights.

There, done. It could be a start though, you guys can continue it. I just think that this zodiac thing must be REALLY important other than just fortune telling.

All right, time to grab the canon verses and, lacking those, other people's pretty poems and try to string this together- It's something I'm good at, sort of... I'll start with that amazing opener, though! ('canon' ones take priority and are this color, multiples in spoilers, I guess; it'll be a bit biased since the non-spoilered will be the one I like best of the set, sorry. ^.^; )

The burden of Mystery's to know the unknown
To wipe away dust so that knowledge is shown
Though it is hard to show what's inside

The burden of Wall is to guard and protect
To stand at attention, straight up and erect
If you stay or you go, you could still hide the ways,
So what do you do?
Defend or Blockade?

The burden of ~~Heart~~ Love is filled with indecision
To follow a path without any precision
But follow your Head or indulge in the Heart
So what do you do?
Stay or Part?

I think "that are all but uncertain" would flow better there. My take on it:

Twelve symbols of life,
With hope and burden rife.
Crossing paths that are all but uncertain,
So what do you choose?
To Open or Close life's great curtain?

To choose one's path in a world ever changing
A burden and a gift of personalities ranging
To succumb to the darkness or shine a bright light

If your not going to add an -s to the end of Night, I recommend changing it to "Through the Everclear Night". It sounds off a bit as is.

Nice catch, sorry.
It would add a flair of importance because it is not saying an Everclear Night(which had been known to happen a number of times in the marioverse written history) but THE Everclear Night. I wanted to solidify that the quest of the heroes is no any ordinary quest.

Can me wanting for booracle to say all of this a stupid dream?

Omigosh, I love the Leaf one~... It seems like with every single one of these wonderful 'EGO Themes' I want to swap my characters' Zodiacs accordingly, heh. Buuut I'll wait until they're all out to decide~. So next is Mystery, then Song? Oooooh. (Yep, I vote for Song, too, lol.)
