I do like them all! It's just hard to judge them with only pictures!

I can say from the characters I've encountered Puuntail and Pundini are my favorites, followed by Punelipi, with Jabberwonky in last. There all pretty fun and quirky characters though and I like them! :'D

Punelipi, Puuntail: Already pretty well-established, no real comment, lol. Though I am still waiting for feedback on Puuntail's revised Humor Recipe, I think (and yes, ChinaBlosque was the inspiration for giving him a Keyhole of Valor)...

Pudini/Dupli-Puni: Fairly well-established, but still waiting for feedback on him in the workshop thread... He's so crazy.

Para-Puni: Still no likely name yet... I really have no clue what to do with him.

Big Puni: He's based off the canon Puni Puniper, but I don't think he'll be a stubborn semi-jerk like Puniper is...

Pretty Puni: I keep looking at those eyelashes and resisting the urge to make her a spoof of Miss Piggy from the Muppets...

Spiky Puni: Umm. His personality probably depends partly on what location he'll represent... He's gonna be either Glitz Pits or Petalburg/Hooktail Castle, and those two are very different from each other...

Glasses Puni: She might be for the Glitz Pits as a journalist/reporter or something?

Bluuni/Blooper Puni/"Bluupina": Why are there no water areas in PMTYD? She's prolly gonna live in Keelhaul Key. Likes Keel Mangoes.

Flower/Piranha Puni/"Piruna": She's gonna be either Keelhaul Key or Rogueport Sewers, the latter because PIPES. Cheerful, has sharp teeth, and easily makes friends with Plant-type 'enemies' such as Dayzees and the many varieties of Piranha Plants. Also I can sort of see her as a perfume/cosmetics maker of some sort, or a beautician. That or just a hyperactive sewer-pest little kid. ^.^; Orrrr both. Somehow.

Punskull/Skele-Puni: A lot less 'scary' than he looks, lives in Twilight Town because his eyes are extremely light-sensitive. Not too sure about his personality otherwise.

Fuzzy-SMORG! Puni/"Repunzi?": She is a sweet, timid little thing who wouldn't harm a fly. The Magenta Smorg who lives in her glowball, however, is not. "Repunzi" can for some reason commune with Smorgs (and also Fuzzies won't attack her). She's self-conscious about her super-long legs and hides them with the fluff, which she's also kinda self-conscious about, because Punies don't normally grow fleece/fuzz like sheep. The Magenta Smorg is alive and an entirely separate entity from her, but if she's being threatened and/or it/he? gets ticked off by something, the Magenta Smorg can kinda 'take over' and Heeeeelllo Battle Mode. Magenta Smorg will call the fury of the Smorg swarms upon you! Lol. TL;DR: She is the sweetest little thing, but most people are kind of scared of her because of the Smorg. She's either gonna live in the Poshley Heights area or the Petalburg area, I think.

Magenta Smorg: He?/it needs a silly name. Humors are probably gonna be a core of Aegis surrounded by a lot of Ardent, plus maybe some Valor and/or one of the 'gentler' Humors so he?/it relates to "Repunzi" better...

Ahahahaha omigosh this is SO not what I was expecting when I saw there were new posts here. Crimson, your Super-Puni's cape is awesome~.

As for the Puni Curse, it's not so much a curse as that Punies happen to be extremely easy to draw and, as I've shown, can be customized in all sorts of ways, I think...

Punies are really fun to draw, aren't they? Such a simple base shape, but then SOOOO much can be done with them! Heehee.

...Y'know, I've been tempted to experiment with my weird Punies, basically do some species-swaps with them, because I think it might be interesting, lol.

Also, I find it hilarious that this thread is now at least partly about Punies and whether or not people have succumbed to the apparently-contagious urge to draw them. =D

I have seen this strange urge elsewhere, off of these forums. It spreads fast, quick to strike but slow to leave. Many have this condition and yet do not realize it, spreading it elsewhere unknowingly. The strangest thing is that those with this condition seem to enjoy this, being thankful to those who spread it to them. Perhaps it is part of the condition, perhaps it is just entertaining to draw Punis.

I like to call it Puni Fever.

And it is quite fun to draw them. And since they're so simple, they probably make a good starting point for learning to draw Mario characters, too~.

Hey, I made progress on that humanized vector-ified pic of Piruna, my Flower/Piranha Plant Puni~! All that's left is her glow-ball/glow-flower, and I don't even want to do it because the "stem" of her antenna came out so nice~... Here, it's in the spoiler!

Thanks! I'm sure you could~ All it takes is practice, really, and the right tools. Oh, had an idea, posting it here so I don't forget it: leave the stem as a stem, add an antenna beside it like Puuntail and his leaf stem. Because just sticking the glow-flower behind the stem would look silly...
