Every time a character is created, their past then combines with the timeline they're being made into. In the timeline/perspective of the characters in the story, Jitterbug began existing when she was born in Goomba Village. For our perspective in the EGO realm, she began existing when we created her. It is, as most things are, a matter of perspective.

You know a less weirder explanation?
We just made the soul of Jitterbug and her soul was implanted on her at birth or before that.
The accessories and clothes are like a definition of her fashion sense or something.We just fast forwarded to the point her true adventure starts, and proceeded to manipulate the world around it.
